PLAYMAKER 7’s Tournament Waiver

Important Notice: Participation Waiver

All participants, coaches, and parents/guardians must review the waiver below before taking part in the PLAYMAKER 7’s Tournament. By registering, you acknowledge and accept the terms outlined herein.

Acknowledgement of Risks

I understand that participation in the PLAYMAKER 7’s Tournament may involve risks, including but not limited to:

  • Injuries resulting from physical exertion or contact during games

  • Exacerbation of existing medical conditions

  • Exposure to natural elements such as heat, wind, or rain

  • Possible accidents during or between matches

I acknowledge these risks are inherent to sports participation and that I am fully aware of the potential dangers involved.

Release of Liability

In consideration of voluntary registration and participation in the PLAYMAKER 7’s, I hereby:

  • Release and discharge the event organiser, herein referred to as PLAYMAKER, including its officers, directors, employees, volunteers, and sponsors, from any and all liability

  • Agree not to pursue legal action for any injuries, losses, damages, or death resulting from participation, unless caused by gross negligence or intentional misconduct

Indemnity

I agree to indemnify and hold harmless PLAYMAKER and its affiliates from all claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from participation in the event.

Medical Authorization

Should a participant require emergency medical treatment, I authorize PLAYMAKER to:

  • Secure medical assistance on behalf of the participant

  • Arrange for transportation to a medical facility if necessary

I understand that any medical expenses incurred will be my personal responsibility.

Voluntary Participation

I confirm that:

  • Participation in the tournament is entirely voluntary

  • All team members and their parents/guardians have been made aware of the risks, responsibilities, and terms of this waiver

  • Submission of the Tournament Registration Form constitutes full acceptance of these terms
