The Final Whistle
Its December, and just about time to celebrate 3 years of PLAYMAKER and the many memories made along the way. PLAYMAKER has now hosted approximately 130 Football Fridays, a satisfying feat for a session run purely on a “pay as you play” Model. The Consistency of Football Friday is the foundation upon which other initiatives such as FOOD-BALL, Socials and the like have been built.
We are also immensely proud of the entertaining performances displayed by all our teams at Tournaments, noting the 3 x Trophies won this year. Building an unparalleled “Junior football eco-system” is undoubtedly our priority. A few weeks ago we were back at Durban Preparatory High School (DPHS) to host the 2nd Annual Football Day which yet again attracted approximately 330 Footballers.
We have also been appointed the Official Service Provider for the 2025 Virginia Preparatory School Soccer Festival, a Project which we are eager to share with you all in the New Year. Institutional Projects add a brand-new layer of engagement and are fresh concepts to widen access to the game. It is worth mentioning that such Projects flow from “concept-to-execution” making Playmaker a complete, turn-key operation. The “Plug-in-and-Play” ecosystem at PLAYMAKER is ideal for Juniors, and especially necessary in a multi-sport environment that demands so much in terms of both time and energy. PLAYMAKER is suitable for everyone, from beginners to elite players. Over the coming weeks we will share new developments, bridges that we are busy building to extend PLAYMAKER’s reach to the people. Like the rest, countless hours have gone into these New Projects which are expected to come to fruition in the 1st quarter of 2025.
